There are so many opportunities for young people to go out there and be whatever they want to be...for them to live a good, fulfilling life that does not need to involve gangsterism and drugs or even having a minimum wage income (become a packer at Pick n Pay [no disrespect intended]).
They can become CEO's of major companies and accountants or even in my case the President.
I guess that in my case as is with many other people the problem is not dreaming about becoming a CEO or President it is getting the opportunity to make it happen. Many "normal people" and I use the term normal very lightly do not know about how to make our dreams become a reality and therefore that is all it will ever be is a dream.
It is time that those that are advantageous enough to know how to do things such as apply for University and actually to be able to get in...to get a scholarship or bursary in order to be able to go study further...to get career guidance in terms of getting advice on which subjects they need to do in order to become what they are...
I think that yesterday has been an eye opener to me and I am going to do my best to research more about scholarships and bursary opportunities as I am not ready to stop studying but do not have the necessary finances to continue as the case with so many people and I hope I find a scholarship that accepts me as I really want to continue to study...
