My second Jozi experience

Hi Everyone I hope that you had an awesome weekend...

Happy Womens Day to all women...Is it not amazing that we are so special that we actually have an entire day dedicated to us...

I was in Jozi this past weekend and realized just how lucky I am to live in Cape Town. For starters everything you need to do requires you having to travel to where you want to be...I mean even to go to the shop you need to go onto the highway and travel for at least 10 minutes before seeing the first mall...no wonder there are so much traffic over there.

Secondly the people are very unfriendly and racist but then they say Cape Town is racist but Jozi yoh...We were driving and got lost, then we stopped at a petrol station and the driver parked wrong in one of the parking bays...a "white" lady came up to us and started speaking to us in Afrikaans saying we must now move the car it was so funny....and nobody wanted to help us find directions whoever we asked they all said they dont know where the place were where we had to be...

but at least I had so much fun...the people I went with was fun so that made up for the rest of the bad experiences...Oh and almost forgot to tell you about how I landing in Joburg while my luggage was still in Cape Town...lol

Anyway at least everything turned out ok I have to go know but will blog again later enjoy the rest of your day...

First Lady signing off...

  1. Gosh, sounds like you had quite a crazy experience in Jozi. Lol........ my word! How did you cope without your luggage? I would have been frantic!

Well, I suppose that the separation between you and your luggage added to the fun experience you had.

Happy belated womens day to you too, glad you arrived back in Cape Town safely.

  2. YEP! Jozie is not really one of my favourite places either but it is good for the odd conference or workshop. I usually find the air there quite dry.
