on the note of RAG ( Remember And Give) what we had to do on Saturday was to go all the people in the street and all the cars that stopped at the traffic lights and ask them for donations for the RAG or to buy a magazine whereby the profit would go to charity along with all the money that we collect...
however what I experienced going to random people and asking them for a donation was that the "Rich" people were very selfish and did not want to give while the "poor" people all gave from what little they had...
for example I walked up to the side of the window of this one guy and he was driven the new BMW cars and as I approached him all he did was roll up his window and nod his head and say no he does not have any spare money to give away while when I walked up to a senoir citizen lady probably only getting income from her pension and she was driven in an old uno she gave a donation of R20...
now i mean has we as humans really come to this where we find that it is only the poor helping the poor while the rich just stamp on every one below and not even want to lend a helping hand???
Feels terrible when you come to that realization, but it is a fact. Poor people tend to give their last to someone in a much more pressing situation then them, whereas the rich would keep their riches to themselves, and that's how they stay rich!
